At last I cleaned the car, not a big thing you say, not interesting. But you never saw my car, oh my it really is a big thing .
But I have also been busy in lots of other ways today, including actually making and sharing my collage today. Here you are, todays collage.

The wind blew and we survived. Although I am sad to say that some places did receive more than their fair share of troubles as a result of the weather.
It certainly hasn’t done anything for my reliability on posting collages, but here we are , catch up time.

Well apparently we ( the UK ) are in the path of a hurricane , although by the time it reaches our shores it will be downgraded to a lesser storm. We will have to wait until Monday to see what comes , hope it doesn’t bring too much flooding to the parts of our land that often suffers. However todays weather has been unseasonably warm, quite odd, but not unpleasant , I do like to be warm. So most of the day has been spent making prints, with my newly made gelli plate and stencils, I have had a great day printing. And of course I have todays collage too.

There are many reasons for fatigue and I have never understood why I get so tired sometimes. But I do , and I have always , sometimes I can fall asleep while doing something I am really enjoying .

Today is World Mental Heath Day, there have been lots of things said on TV and in the media about mental heath , and I am glad to see it being something talked about more and more. Often though, especially in the workplace, it is still talked about in negative terms, people who suffer often do so in silence as they fear the consequences of revealing that they have a concern with their mental health.
Please don’t suffer in silence, ask for help. There is help and you can get better.

I have listened to lots of music over the last few days. Not sure why, perhaps its that I cant get my mind to switch off so I have looked for ways to tire it out in the hope I could rest. It hasn’t really worked, although for the first time ever I am actually enjoying listening to music. And that sounds an odd thing to say because I do enjoy music and I have been to hear lots of live music which has been fabulous . The Rolling Stones in Glasgow, Bjork in Blackpool , but generally listening to music hasn’t make me feel anything much really. But the things I have listened to the last few days have really awakened something in my ears. Well then before I go getting all sentimental , here are the collages from Friday to today.

I’ve been chief dog sitter this week, and I have really enjoyed the extra walking. It hasn’t done anything to get me posting my collages though, but caught up tonight.

Another day of sadness for so many. The pain of modern life is difficult to comprehend . There are no words that can take the pain away.

I love the colours of Autumn , they creep up on you . One minute your looking at colourful flowers in the garden and the next its the trees, beautiful in their golden crowns of leaves yellow, amber, gold, crimson, lime, beautiful. Still the end of another month and another pile of collages. Here are the last for September, I will wait until tomorrow to start the new month.
