July 2019

I used to work with a lady and without fail on the 21st of June she would say something along the lines of ‘it’s all downhill to Christmas now ‘and here I am thinking the very same thing as I remember her funny saying. Here we are the month of July, the summer months, long days, pottering in the garden and the warmth I love.

The residency in Cornwall gave me lots of time for thought and reflection. I am happy to be back home, the ideas I have to produce work along the themes of loss and memory are coming along. I have been allocated a small amount of funding to continue developing the ideas, and more importantly for me, someone to chat things through, give encouragement and keep me on track.

Talking about keeping on track, here are July’s pages, I will attempt to stay with  a daily posting from Monday, but life can become complicated so I will try not to get too upset if I don’t manage every day.
