Oh I do like this time of year when things in the veg. plot are bearing fruit. It is hard though finding the balance with letting things grow and controlling  nature. The hungry caterpillar and slug population don’t seem to understand the idea of sharing and just want to eat everything. Still plenty for everyone if you don’t mind the odd hole in a leaf, at least the caterpillars don’t like the beans.
