Crazy full moon and peculiar weather

Well we have had it all now, weeks of no rain at all and come the crazy full moon and we get rain, rain and more rain. I was waiting for weeks for this spectacular full moon, and all I got was cloud. Well that’s not entirely true, as being rudely awakened at 4 am in the morning by my dreaming husband, I ventured outside to cool down and the moon was clearly visible. Not such great weather later at 7 am as the rain descended, and so it has remained for the last few days. Oh well, so much for the hose pipe ban on Thursday.

Here are the last few day prints, if you didn’t catch them on Instagram. 27th is a very simple lino, used my newly acquired mangle to take the print! Fun. And today’s print was made with a vegan gel plate, not as good as the non vegetarian version, may have to work on a better recipe before the workshop on the 16th.

Have a good week all.
